Contracts Manager (Research & Innovation)
Central London - Hybrid
£55 per hour inside IR35
We're looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a Research & Innovation team supporting world-leading research and collaborative partnerships.
In this role, you'll negotiate and manage a diverse portfolio of research-related agreements, including:
- Funding
- Collaboration
- Confidentiality
- Data sharing
- Material transfer
- Studentship agreements

You'll work closely with academics, researchers, and external partners, providing commercially focused advice while helping to protect intellectual property and manage contractual risk.
We're looking for someone with:
- A law degree (or equivalent) or relevant legal qualification
- Experience drafting and negotiating research contracts or complex legal agreements
- Strong knowledge of intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, data protection, and other key contractual issues
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage a varied workload and build effective working relationships
