Contract Manager – Offshore T&I (FIDIC)

Location: Hybrid (Scotland) with project travel

Turner Lovell are recruiting on behalf of a leading global EPC organisation delivering major energy infrastructure projects in the UK. Our client is a key player in the development of HVDC interconnector systems, supporting the transition to a more resilient and sustainable energy network.

We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to take ownership of the commercial and contractual management of offshore transport & installation (T&I) works on a high-profile HVDC project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead administration of the offshore T&I subcontract, ensuring full contractual compliance
  • Manage contractual correspondence, notices, and maintain auditable records
  • Handle claims, variations, and Extension of Time (EOT) assessments
  • Evaluate entitlement, delays, and commercial impacts
  • Act as the key contractual interface with offshore contractors
  • Monitor contractor performance and align contracts with overall delivery strategy
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks across the package
  • Support dispute resolution and strategic commercial decisions
  • Collaborate closely with project controls, engineering, and delivery teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in offshore or infrastructure contract management (8+ years)
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts
  • Experience managing claims, variations, and delay/EOT analysis
  • Background in offshore cable installation or marine projects is highly desirable
  • Ability to operate independently in a senior, high-impact role
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
