Contracts Manager (Surveyor) – Healthy Homes

Goodman Masson is delighted to be partnering with Local Space, an ambitious and values-driven housing association, to recruit a Contracts Surveyor – Healthy Homes.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation with a genuine social purpose, helping to provide safe, high-quality homes for people experiencing homelessness across London and Essex.

As part of an ambitious Asset Delivery team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring residents live in safe, healthy homes by leading the delivery of damp & mould remediation and Healthy Homes repairs, ensuring compliance with evolving legislation including Awaab's Law.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Operations Manager – Responsive Repairs, you'll take ownership of the technical delivery and contract management of Healthy Homes and damp & mould cases from diagnosis through to completion.

  • Working closely with contractors, residents, and internal stakeholders, you'll ensure repairs are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality, while providing an outstanding customer experience throughout.

Why this role stands out

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
