Contract Product Owner
Job title: Product Owner Type: Full-time, Contract Location: Edinburgh preferred, with flexible options for home-based, office-based, or hybrid working. Candidates based elsewhere in the UK will also be considered.
How you’ll work Translating business and regulatory requirements into clear, deliverable technical solutions trusted by stakeholders. Owning and delivering against a prioritised product roadmap, balancing customer value, commercial outcomes, and regulatory obligations. Leading an Agile squad of frontend engineers to deliver high-quality, customer-focused digital experiences. Managing and prioritising the product backlog, ensuring well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Acting as the primary liaison between business, engineering, risk, and compliance teams.

Our client
Our client is a UK-based financial services organisation that delivers digital banking products to millions of customers. They focus on building simple, secure, and reliable experiences at scale within a highly regulated environment.
Required Experience Solid experience working as a Product Owner within Agile delivery teams, ideally on digital or customer-facing products. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex business, technical, and regulatory environments. Proven capability in backlog ownership, prioritisation, and shaping work to maximise value and delivery flow. Experience leading or working closely with engineering teams, with a good understanding of frontend-led digital delivery. Experience within banking or financial services is desirable, particularly in regulated product environments
