Role: Contract Product Owner
Project: DLT-Based Collateral Network (DLT & Tokenisation)
Industry: Capital Markets
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: Initial 6-month contract (with strong extension potential)
Rate: £750–900/day (Outside IR35)

X4 Technology are partnered with a leading global capital markets firm delivering a flagship digital collateral transformation programme. Leveraging Distributed Ledger Technology, the initiative is focused on tokenisation - enabling greater collateral mobility, operational efficiency, and interoperability across financial markets.

As part of this transformation, they are seeking a Contract Product Owner to define product strategy, shape the roadmap, and drive the delivery of a next-generation digital collateral platform. This is a highly business-facing role, working closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, and market participants to translate business needs into scalable product capabilities.

Responsibilities of the Contract Product Owner (DLT & Tokenisation)

  • Own product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a DLT-based collateral platform.
  • Define product requirements and prioritise delivery across key capabilities.
  • Work with business sponsors, engineering teams, and external stakeholders to drive execution.
  • Translate complex digital asset and collateral requirements into actionable product outcomes.
  • Support the evolution of tokenised collateral workflows and operating models.

Requirements for the Contract Product Owner (DLT & Tokenisation)

  • Strong Product Owner experience within financial services or capital markets.
  • Experience delivering complex platforms, ideally within digital assets, blockchain, or post-trade environments.
  • Strong understanding of DLT, tokenisation, and digital asset workflows.
  • Experience working across collateral management, clearing, custody, or market infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Background with organisations such as DTCC, J.P. Morgan, HQLAx, Broadridge, etc.
