Who We Are
VIVO provides facilities management and accommodation maintenance for the UK military and its partners. VIVO embodies both experience and innovation.
What We Do
We put our Customers and Families First. They are the driving force behind everything we do. We drive forward improvements for them to ensure the service they receive—whether reactive repairs or a major project—is completed safely and on time. To achieve this, we have four core values: open, caring, agile and collaborative. These are at the heart of everything we do.
The Role
Salary: £65,000–£75,000
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Contract Quality Manager to lead quality assurance, contract compliance and continuous improvement across a complex service delivery environment. This is a key role, responsible for ensuring that services are delivered consistently, safely and effectively, meeting contractual obligations, regulatory requirements and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the contract lead for quality and assurance, providing independent oversight across operational delivery teams and supply chain partners.
- Ensure quality management processes are embedded throughout the contract, driving a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring services are delivered right first time.
- Take ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS), aligning processes with ISO 9001 principles and ensuring effective implementation across the contract.
- Work with operational teams to maintain and continuously improve quality standards, identifying opportunities to strengthen performance and improve customer outcomes.
- Develop and deliver a robust contract assurance programme, including audits, inspections and quality reviews.
- Ensure appropriate evidence is captured and maintained to demonstrate compliance with contractual, regulatory and governance requirements.
- Identify risks, trends, and areas requiring corrective action.
- Provide detailed performance insight through regular reporting, analysing data to identify recurring issues, emerging risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with operational teams and senior stakeholders using evidence-based analysis to support decision-making and drive measurable improvements in service delivery.
- Lead quality performance across the supply chain, ensuring suppliers meet contractual expectations and maintain appropriate standards.
- Work collaboratively with supply partners to address non-conformances and improve consistency across service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, supporting client assurance activities, audits, and performance reviews.
- Provide professional advice, challenge where necessary, and ensure confidence in the quality and compliance of the service being delivered.
- Lead corrective and preventative action processes, ensuring issues are resolved and improvements are embedded.
- Help create a right-first-time culture that improves performance, reduces failures, and delivers long-term value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
