About the Company
We're partnering with a fast-growing digital consultancy that designs and delivers high-quality web applications for a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors including technology, financial services, e-commerce and digital products.
About the Role
They're looking for an experienced React Developer to join their engineering team on an initial 6-month contract. You'll work closely with designers, product managers and backend engineers to build modern, scalable applications, contributing across the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Developing high-quality front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
- Building reusable, maintainable UI components.
- Working on greenfield development as well as enhancing existing applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Writing clean, testable and well-documented code.
- Participating in code reviews and helping maintain engineering best practices.
- Working directly with clients and internal stakeholders where required.

Qualifications
Strong commercial experience with React.js.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+) and modern front-end development.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API or similar.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
- Previous consultancy or agency experience would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Next.js.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working on large-scale, customer-facing applications.
Pay range and compensation package
- Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension.
- Up to £400 per day Outside IR35.
- Hybrid working with 3 days per week in the London office.
