About the Team
This position is part of the LexisNexis Risk Solutions (LNRS) Insurance Contracts Team, which operates within Operations. The team collaborates closely with Sales, Legal, Product, and Analytics to ensure:
- Accurate capture and documentation of deals
- Approval and drafting of contracts based on agreed commercials
- Tracking of non-standard provisions
With a busy workload and multi-stakeholder involvement, collaboration and attention to detail are critical.
About the Role: Commercial Contracts Executive
The Commercial Contracts Executive will provide contract support to LexisNexis Risk Solutions’ Insurance business, operating as part of the Operations team. This role ensures compliance with commercial contract terms while offering credible and trustworthy guidance to the business in collaboration with the Legal team.

Key Responsibilities
Contract Drafting & Governance
- Provide basic commercial advice and interpret contractual requirements.
- Draft, review, and prepare standard contract documents, including:
- Orders
- Amendments
- Schedules
- SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
- Appendices
- Approved term modifications.
- Manage customer queries and pushbacks, escalating issues to Legal or stakeholders as necessary.
- Maintain accurate decision tracking and attends internal governance forums (e.g., Deal Review Board).
Process & Workflow Support
- Ensure the correct use of contract governance tools (e.g., DocuSign, approval forms, trackers, reporting) for timely execution.
- Oversee shared legal inboxes, contract storage, and indexing processes.
- Support process mapping across Legal, analytical, and operational teams.
Stakeholder & Team Support
- Provide guidance to junior contract administrators on day-to-day tasks.
- Contribute to regulatory/customer enquiries and assisted with biannual contract template updates.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualifications / work experience.
- Prior experience in busy commercial contracts or legal functions.
- Ability to manage competing workloads and deadlines in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Proven high-pressure performance, balancing priorities while delivering results.
- Strong skills in interfacing with multiple functional areas (internal and external).
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain working relationships with expertise, commitment, and follow-through.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
