Contracted Multi-Site Security Officer
Location: Covering various sites across the South Coast/Hampshire area
Contracted Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Shift times and days will vary depending on site requirements, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Pay Rate: As per site rate
Mileage: Paid at 15p per mile after the first 20 miles of travel, in line with company policy
Reporting to: Contracts Manager
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced and flexible Security Officer to join our established team as a Contracted Multi-Site Security Officer.
This role is ideal for a reliable, adaptable, and professional individual who enjoys working across multiple locations and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for supporting a range of shopping centres and other sites across our South Coast portfolio, ensuring the safety and security of visitors, tenants, staff, and assets.
You will be allocated shifts across the portfolio based on business requirements and operational needs. This will involve travelling throughout the South Coast and Hampshire region to provide cover for holidays, sickness absence, staff shortages, ad hoc support, and urgent operational requirements.
You must be flexible and able to adapt quickly to the specific requirements of each location, maintaining high standards of professionalism, security, and customer service at all times.
A valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) licence is essential for this role. A CCTV licence is preferred.
A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential due to the multi-site nature of the position.

Sites Covered
This role involves providing security support across a number of locations which may include, but are not limited to:
- Fareham Shopping Centre, PO16 0PQ
- The Marlands Shopping Centre, SO14 7SJ
- Port Solent, PO6 4TP
- Rams Walk Shopping Centre, GU32 3JA
- Meridian Shopping Centre, PO9 1UN
Additional sites across the South Coast region as required
The successful candidate must be prepared to travel to support operational requirements across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Protecting the client's people, property, and assets in accordance with Assignment Instructions and site-specific procedures.
- Conducting regular internal and external patrols.
- Monitoring site activity and maintaining a visible security presence.
- Providing a safe and secure environment for visitors, retailers, contractors, and staff.
- Preventing and reporting incidents, losses, damage, and unauthorised access.
- Escalating incidents appropriately to site management, the Control Room, Operations Management, or Emergency Services where required.
- Completing accurate reports, incident logs, and patrol records.
- Assisting customers and members of the public in a professional and friendly manner.
- Responding to customer enquiries and site-related issues efficiently.
- Supporting planned and short-notice cover requirements across multiple locations.
- Maintaining professional conduct, appearance, and company standards at all times.
- Working closely with site management and wider security teams to ensure smooth site operations.
Requirements
Essential:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) Licence.
- Valid UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle.
