On-Site Contractor Escort Opportunity in HMP Lincoln
Salary
£27,426
Standard Hours
39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm, with an earlier finish every Friday!
About Amey
At Amey, we support our justice client, His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS), by providing them with safe, clean, and efficient prisons. By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly.
Role Overview
The Contractor Escort plays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant, and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety and contractor checks and monitoring
- Site induction duties
- Flexible deployment to provide a range of other support service activities within operational areas of an establishment when required, including aiding contractors working on site
- Support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate
- Ensure H&S standards are achieved across the contract
Requirements
- A professional customer/client focused approach to service delivery
- A committed, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to varying duties
- Ability to follow and adhere to instructions and relevant safety policies and procedures
- Full UK driving licence
- Security and safety conscious
- Ability to challenge potential compromises and risk
