Join our growing the Energy team as a Contracts Administrator, supporting major renewable energy, power infrastructure and utility projects. From procurement to project delivery, you'll play a key role in driving commercial outcomes while working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will provide commercial and contractual support across multiple energy projects, ensuring effective contract administration, cost control and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Manage and ensure compliance with client contract throughout the project/s
  • Oversee project start up, procurement, delivery and project close out
  • Liaise with internal Duratec team and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to the client
  • Manage subcontractors from onboarding to claim assessments
  • Monitor commissioning activities including documentation
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure adherence to procedures, policies, and contractual obligations
  • Maintain relevant registers that track and substantiate the projects commercial position
  • Contribute to the project commercial strategy and drive commercial outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role you will bring previous experience in a varied contract administration role in the construction/ infrastructure/energy or utilities industry, along with:

  • The ability to engage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to build mutually beneficial relationships
  • Experience in communicating directly with clients and managing all upstream commercials
  • Exposure to EPC, design and construct, GC21, AS4000 or bespoke energy contracts (highly regarded)
  • An understanding of the risks and opportunities associated with all projects contractual agreements
  • Sound working knowledge of project administration and project control
  • Analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Positive negotiation, conflict and influencing skills
  • The ability to present information to a range of audiences
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commerce or a related discipline.
