- Competitive salary, with a guideline range up to £60,000, based on experience
- Full ownership of Gatekeeper platform—drive system usability, data accuracy, and contract governance company-wide
- Own end-to-end contract lifecycle management with a focus on process improvement
About the Role
Cynergy Bank seeks a Contracts and Data Lead to transform its Supplier Management function. This isn’t just another operations role—you’ll own, improve, and influence the entire contract ecosystem, turning raw data into actionable commercial insight.

Key Responsibilities
Lifecycle and Governance
- Lead full-cycle contract management, from onboarding through to renewals and expiry, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation
- Be the single point of reference for Gatekeeper, the legal and operational “source of truth”, ensuring:
- High data integrity
- Strong system governance
- Audit-readiness at every level
Strategic & Analytical
- Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure contracts align with regulatory and commercial objectives
- Deliver executive-level insights via clear, impactful reporting on:
- Supplier spend analysis
- Contract performance
- Contract pipeline trends
- Use data to identify cost optimisation opportunities, trends, and risk exposure

Process & System Leadership
- Drive end-to-end process improvements, including AI-driven efficiencies (e.g., approval workflows, data cleansing tools)
- Embed best practices in supplier management through:
- Training programmes
- Guidance materials
- Stakeholder engagement
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in contract lifecycle management, procurement operations, or supplier governance
- Hands-on, in-depth experience with Gatekeeper (essential, as you’ll own and shape its use)
- Strong analytical mindset with a track record of generating meaningful, actionable reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to:
- Influence across departments (Finance, Legal, Risk, Operations, etc.)
- Work with senior leadership to drive decisions
- Rigorous attention to detail, grounded in governance, risk, and audit standards
- Proactive problem-solver who static-obsess—you notice bottlenecks, look for efficiencies, and lead change
