Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with a leading global organisation, headquartered in Glasgow, to recruit a Contracts Business Partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established international business in a varied and business-critical role. Reporting into the Corporate Services function, you will support the day-to-day delivery of contract management, insurance administration, corporate governance, and risk management activities across the Group.
This position would suit an individual with a background in legal services, insurance, contracts administration, compliance, or corporate services who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has exceptional attention to detail. You will be confident reviewing commercial agreements, identifying contractual and insurance risks, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to ensure robust governance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, prepare and amend a range of management agreements and commercial contracts to support business operations.
- Review and analyse business contracts across the Group, identifying potential legal, commercial and operational risks.
- Identify contractual compliance obligations and insurable risks, ensuring these are reviewed and updated on an annual basis.
- Act as a key user for the Group's Contract Management System, driving compliance, supporting users and ensuring contracts are accurately maintained.
- Provide guidance and support to business units in the management and resolution of contractual disputes.
- Monitor compliance with international sanctions policies and procedures, ensuring regulatory obligations are met.
- Support the identification, monitoring and reporting of corporate risk exposures, maintaining risk registers and preparing regular management reports.
- Coordinate Group insurance activities, ensuring compliance with insurance policies, claims reporting requirements and renewal processes.
- Maintain accurate records of insurance incidents and claims, producing annual analysis and reporting to identify trends and areas of risk.
- Review employment contracts to ensure appropriate insurable benefits are included and remain compliant.
- Maintain an up-to-date register of insurance certificates and policy documentation for all Group entities.
- Assist in the preparation of corporate governance and risk reports for senior leadership.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Experience working within a legal, insurance, corporate services, governance or contracts environment.
- Strong knowledge of commercial contracts and contract administration.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to review and interpret complex documentation.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Confidence building relationships with stakeholders across different business functions.
- Experience of risk management, insurance administration or compliance would be advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and provide practical advice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
