Location: Hertfordshire (Office Based)

Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £30,000-£35,000

About The Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Contracts Coordinator to join our team in Hertfordshire. This is a varied and important role at the heart of our operations, responsible for overseeing our fire safety contracts from start to finish and acting as the key point of contact between clients, assessors, and Fire Safety Liaison Managers. The successful candidate will keep our contracts running smoothly, ensure accurate record-keeping, and help maintain the excellent service our clients expect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day administration of fire safety contracts
  • Liaise regularly with clients to provide updates, resolve queries, and maintain strong working relationships
  • Act as a coordination point between assessors and Fire Safety Liaison Managers to ensure contracts progress on schedule
  • Monitor contract timelines, deliverables, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain and update contract records and databases, including regular use of Excel for tracking and reporting
  • Support the wider team with general contract administration and coordination tasks
  • Identify and escalate any issues or delays affecting contract delivery
  • Ensure all contract information is accurately logged and readily accessible

Essential

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to manage and interpret data
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously
  • A proactive, client-focused approach

Desirable

  • Background or experience within the fire safety industry
  • Experience using RiskBase and/or Safety Culture systems
