Lloyds Datum and the wider Infrastructure team delivers essential technical services that ensure the safety, quality and compliance of major construction and civil engineering projects across the UK & Ireland. Job Description As a Contracts Engineer you would work directly for the Operations Director – Datum and would have exposure across projects, operations, and commercial management. You would be hands-on with live work and projects from end to end, gaining a clear understanding of how the business operates day to day while also contributing to some of our longer-term strategic growth initiatives. The role would involve working closely with operations teams to deliver projects, particularly through the execution phase, while also developing your capability within our monitoring scopes, including both the hardware and software elements. Alongside this, we would actively support your development through a structured program of internal and external training, covering commercial and financial management, HR, and leadership and management skills. Qualifications Experience in an Infrastructure, civil and / or construction based role is essential. A mix of site and project experience and capability is preferrable. Understanding of project commercials is necessary (with a desire to build capability and knowledge in this area) Additional Information Why SOCOTEC?
