Role Description
The Contracts Manager is a full-time role based in Battlesbridge, responsible for overseeing asbestos removal and land remediation contracts from tender through to completion. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Managing project delivery
- Coordinating site teams and subcontractors
- Monitoring progress against program and budget
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company procedures
The role involves:
- Preparing and reviewing contract documentation
- Negotiating terms with clients and suppliers
- Maintaining accurate records, reports, and risk assessments
The Contracts Manager will work closely with health and safety personnel, contribute to method statements and plans of work, and act as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and timely updates. The position also requires:
- Supporting continuous improvement in operational processes
- Contributing to business development through strong client relationships

Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in Asbestos Contract Management, and procurement of works.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including asbestos legislation and industry best practices.
- Solid organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities for working with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Competence with standard office and project management software (e.g., MS Office)
- Knowledge of Assure360 advantageous
- Relevant professional certifications and training to the role, plus LAR have a robust training policy for CPD.
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to attend sites and client meetings as required.
