Contracts Manager

Role Overview

Founded over 20 years, Lawtech have become a leading principal contractor specialising in cladding remediation. We deliver high-quality, compliant, multi-million-pound cladding repatriations & regeneration contracts throughout London and the wider Southeast.

This role requires the individual to actively supervise/manage the delivery of several projects by being in attendance on the site by giving direction and auditing the delivery of the works. By necessity this role requires the individual to spend substantial amounts of their time on site, so a willingness and ability to attend the workface high up on scaffold is essential.

Ensure Delivery

For the projects delegated, to:

You provide a project delivery plan and agree the take on budget. Your project is adequately resourced and the teams are set up to be successful You ensure your staff and supply chain are adequately trained You are operating safely and compliantly in line with company policy and legislative requirements. Your teams operate and deliver your contractual obligations Projects are built to the design and agreed QCQA standard on budget and ahead of programme Produce no less than the required monthly reports internally and externally Management of specified project to the agreed deadlines and budgets. Work with commercial manager to ensure orders, budgets and costs are managed. Work with H&S and D&Q managers to ensure total compliance on site. Work with client/s, their project managers, and key stakeholders. Work with Customer service manager to manage and resolve residents’ issues to their satisfaction. Ensure all project issues are raised and dealt with appropriately. Manage project meeting requirement and reports as set out in the IMS system. Line management of senior project staff.

Understand the contractual and legislative requirements:

H&S Employers requirement/Contractors proposals Budget Scope of works Design/ drawings Programme

Ensure The Monthly CVR Information Is Being Issued

Staff Tracker Sales Forecast Risk & Opportunities Training requirements

Managing The Site Team

Monitor/ensure all aspects of H&S compliance to ensure all works are to the required standards. Ensure all aspects of Design & QA/QC are being delivered and carry out a no less than monthly audit. Ensure the Project Manager is planning re-source and materials to achieve the target programme, including maintaining a constant look ahead plan. Ensure as-built programmes and delay/variation records are being kept and issued as required. Ensure compliance with Lawtech company policies, protocols/IMS & FIRAS

Skills & Qualifications

Technical – experienced Contracts/Project Manager within construction for large projects (£ms) CSCS black card (Contracts Manager) Asbestos awareness, scaffold inspection and first aid certificates Programme and project management – proficiently manage the production of Gantt charts including critical path analysis, interpretation of requirements, and tracking of financial information CRB checked as required for specific sites, e.g. schools. Site management certificate including Health & Safety Construction Design & Management Regulations

General IT

Comfortable using Microsoft Word, ASTA or Microsoft Project and Excel
