The North Midlands and Black Country Procurement Group (NMBC)
The NMBC is comprised of The University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM), The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust (RWT), Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust (WHT), The Black Country Pathology Services (BCPS), North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust (NSCHT), Black Country Healthcare Foundation Trust (BCHFT), Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) and Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU).
The NMBC is responsible for all aspects of Procurement, Supply Chain and wider Commercial support to the aforementioned organisations covering a range of Acute, Mental Health, Community, Pathology Networks, GP Practices and Commissioning Support Units across the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, Black Country, Shropshire and South Cheshire Integrated Care System (ICS’s). With almost 200 staff, 55,000 customers and managing a total non pay spend portfolio of over £1.2b per annum the NMBC is one of the largest and influential Group Procurement Organisations (GPO’s) in the NHS.

Role Overview
These posts sit in the Commercial Contract Management team and is based at the Royal Stoke Hospital site, reporting to the Head of Procurement- Commercial Contract Management within the NMBC.
Commercial Contract Management and Delivery
To manage an allocated contract portfolio, working collaboratively with partners and stakeholder to inform the development of a commercial contract management workplan which identifies opportunities to improve quality, value and cost.
