Contracts Manager – Care Home Construction
About the Role
Are you an experienced Project/Contracts Manager with a background working on care home construction projects? If so, we’re looking for someone like you to join our client, a regional construction business in partnership with Approach Personnel.
As Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple ongoing and future projects (initially based in the North West with future expansion across Yorkshire). Your role will involve:
- Developing build plans
- Engaging with clients effectively
- Ensuring site teams complete works to budget, quality standards, and deadlines

Key Responsibilities
- Program management & client engagement
- Developing detailed construction plans, timelines, and work schedules
- Liaising with Site Managers to ensure projects progress on time and to quality
- Reporting to the Operations Manager with project status updates
- Proactively identifying risks and mitigating project delays
- Facilitating final inspections and approvals

Requirements
- Experience: Prior role as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager on care home construction projects
- Qualification: NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management
- Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Project
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations on site
