Description

Team Overview: The Contracts department oversees the delivery and execution of projects from initial mobilisation through to completion and handover. Acting as the bridge between design, commercial, and on-site teams, the department ensures that all contractual obligations are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. With a focus on planning, resource coordination, and problem-solving, the Contracts team plays a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Role Overview: We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Electrical Contracts Manager with strong leadership and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, developing, and supporting electrical project teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest technical and quality standards.

You will work closely with an established commercial project management team and our in-house M&E design engineers, utilising industry-leading software including Revit, AutoCAD, and MEP 3D design platforms.

The majority of projects are commercial-sector mechanical and electrical installations across NI & ROI, including LV distribution, containment systems, lighting, power, controls, BMS interfaces, and integration with mechanical and energy centre systems. The role will also involve oversight of DNO and high-voltage (HV) works, including transformer installations, busbar systems, and coordination with network operators. Strong electrical contracting experience is essential for this role.

What You'll be Doing

Lead and manage electrical project delivery teams to ensure the safe, timely, and high-quality completion of all electrical works. Serve as the primary client contact for electrical matters, overseeing project planning, resourcing, procurement, budgeting, and subcontractor management, while monitoring costs, labour, and programme milestones. Ensure all scopes, specifications, drawings, and compliance documentation are agreed, maintained, and completed, including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and test certifications. Support commercial processes such as valuations, payments, and change control, and chair project review meetings to drive critical path activities. Promote electrical safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout project delivery, supporting commissioning, handover, and forecasting of future resource requirements aligned with business growth.
