Contracts Manager | RC Frame & Groundworks

Location: South Coast

Salary: £85,000 - £95,000

Skilled Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role.


We are partnering with a well-established specialist contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality reinforced concrete frame and groundworks packages. Due to a strong and growing pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to take ownership of project delivery and client relationships.

The role:

  • Take full operational and commercial responsibility for the delivery of RC frame and groundworks projects
  • Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion, delivered safely, on programme and within budget
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong long-term relationships
  • Oversee programme, resource planning, labour, plant and subcontractor management
  • Monitor budgets, valuations and commercial performance alongside the commercial team
  • Drive health, safety, quality and environmental standards across all sites
  • Provide clear leadership and direction to multiple site teams and project staff

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Operations Manager or senior Project Manager within civil engineering
  • Strong background in RC frame construction and groundworks
  • A track record of delivering projects to time, cost and quality
  • Commercial awareness and a solid grasp of contracts and project financials
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to manage client relationships at a senior level
  • Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS and a degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction (desirable)
