We're looking for a Contracts Manager to join our Southern Water Framework based in Falmer.

Location: Falmer – remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 40 per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

Join us as one of two Regional Contracts Managers, where you'll provide leadership and oversight to projects in the western sector. As a senior member of our Water Non-Infra delivery team, you'll drive efficient project delivery from pre-construction through to detailed design, construction, commissioning and handover. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact whilst working collaboratively with talented professionals who value your contribution.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Contracts Manager, you'll be working within the Water Non-Infra delivery team, supporting them in the successful delivery of water infrastructure projects.

Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Leading the successful delivery of projects in your region, ensuring targets are met
  • Collaborating with internal teams and Southern Water stakeholders to develop and agree project costs, programmes and risk allocation
  • Working closely with procurement teams to develop best-value strategies that minimise programme risk
  • Managing and developing project managers in your region, providing guidance and support
  • Implementing comprehensive risk management strategies to ensure projects are de-risked effectively

What are we looking for?

This role of Contracts Manager is great for you if:

  • You have demonstrable leadership skills and enjoy working collaboratively with others
  • You possess an excellent understanding of the design and construction process, with a track record of managing major delivery portfolios
  • You have strong knowledge of NEC contracting and experience within the water industry or with regulated clients
  • You're skilled in project management techniques and confident using Microsoft Office applications
  • You hold a full driving licence
