Job Description
The Impact You Will Have in This Role
To ensure robust protection of the Group’s risk profile through effective and efficient contracting across the Group by providing a full range of contract management support including the training in and enforcement of the Group’s standard contracting practices.
What You’ll Be Doing in This Role
- Reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements with customers, automotive manufacturers, suppliers, and third-party industry partners, including licence agreements, framework agreements and statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, and employment agency contracts.
- Providing guidance on the various contracting and approval processes, use of correct templates, and other relevant contractual policies including the Risk Tolerance Document, seeking advice from the Associate General Counsel where appropriate.
- Obtaining approvals from the key decision-makers in the business with regards to amended contract terms ensuring that sufficient information is given to facilitate an informed approval.
- Drafting amendments to standard templates for both customers and suppliers in addition to reviewing and amending third party documentation to ensure that they conform with the Group’s contracting strategy.
- Working with the Contract Manager (Team Lead) in the assessment and implementation of various projects that help streamline the Group’s processes and further improves the Group’s risk profile.
- Providing ad-hoc assistance and support to the various stakeholders in the business, and other Contract Managers in relation to the Group’s contracting practices and risk tolerances.
Sales
- Ensuring well organised and prompt turnaround of all customer-related documentation (for both new business and renewals) and facilitating the rapid conclusion of profitable and on-strategy contracts.
- Working with the Contract Manager (Team Lead) in implementing the Group’s renewal planning process, assessing the risk in renewing contracts and stimulating a renegotiation where required.
- Working closely with the sales teams to encourage the consistent use of Salesforce, Docusign and other Group mandated processes, tools and templates; providing customer-facing responses and/or sales training where required.
- Developing strong relationships with Key Account Managers and Sales Directors to ensure awareness of, and compliance with, Group policies, including in respect of off-strategy sales.

Suppliers
- Ensuring the data provenance of the business by working closely with the Product and Data Operations Team to ensure that appropriate and timely contracts are in place for all data supply streams.
- Working with various stakeholders in the business to ensure that supplier contracts comply with the Group’s contracting strategy and protects the Group’s commercial interests.
- Where required by law, reviewing and negotiating data processing or sharing agreements working closely with the Data Protection Officer.
Qualifications of this Role
- At least two years’ experience reviewing contracts, preferably obtained in-house.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Proven drafting and document preparation and version management skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritise a varied workload.
- Business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Computer literacy and fluency in the English language.
- Fluent in a European language in a country in which the group operates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience negotiating contracts and giving training.
- Project management skills and working to tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.
