Role Description
This is a full time, on site and in the office Contracts Manager / Project Manager / Supervisor role based in Basildon. The role involves overseeing commercial flooring projects from when they are secured, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources and subcontractors. The successful candidate will manage contracts, monitor project progress, control costs, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. Day to day tasks include:

- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Conducting site visits
- Preparing reports
- Resolving operational issues

The role also requires supervising installation teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting continuous improvement of processes and customer service.
Qualifications / Experience
- Experience in contracts management or project management within construction, flooring, or a related field.
- Strong skills in planning, organizing, and coordinating multiple projects and teams.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe site management practices.
- Effective communication and management skills, with the ability to build positive client and supplier relationships.
- Proven supervisory experience, including motivating teams, managing performance, and resolving issues on site.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on quality and deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- CSCS, SSSTS, SMSTS, BPSS, EL1 and any other qualifications are an advantage.
