Contracts Manager
Myona Roofing Ltd
Unit 4A, Waterside Park, Cookham Road, Bracknell, Berkshire, RG12 1RB
Salary: Dependent upon qualifications and experience.
We are looking to strengthen our current team with a permanent Contracts Manager. The successful candidate will oversee roofing projects across roof tiling, slating, lead work and flat roofing.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from inception through to completion.
- Take a highly organised approach to planning and delivering projects.
- Motivate the workforce and keep projects running to schedule.
- Ensure work is completed to the company’s high quality standards.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Schedule resources, labour and plant requirements.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintain regular communication with the team.

Requirements
- Strong negotiation skills.
- A high level of technical roofing and construction knowledge.
- The ability to accurately interpret construction drawings.
- An extensive network of labour and house builder contacts.
- A safety-first approach, with SMSTS qualification or higher.
- The ability to control costs and cash flow effectively.
- Proven experience in slating, tiling, associated lead work and flat roofing.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong IT skills.
Additional Duties
- Carry out regular site visits to liaise with site agents and subcontractors regarding works that are forthcoming, in progress or completed.
- Maintain strong communication and positive working relationships with customers and clients.
- Check that works are ready for labour to start and that all required materials are on site.
- Monitor labour levels, punctuality, productivity, safety performance and workmanship.
- Oversee site stock control and monitor material delivery progress.
- Prepare short-term and long-term forecasts for site labour and material requirements.
- Monitor site progress to support accurate and regular invoicing.
- Identify site variations and follow the appropriate process.
