Contracts Manager – Solar EPC (Renewable Energy)
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading force in the renewable energy sector as a Contracts Manager – Solar EPC (Renewable Energy). We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for a permanent, onsite position in the United Kingdom. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our solar projects through expert contract management and strategic oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and draft comprehensive EPC contracts, ensuring alignment with project requirements, commercial objectives, and legal compliance.
- Manage all contractual aspects of solar EPC projects from inception through to completion, including change orders, claims, and dispute resolution.
- Oversee procurement processes, ensuring adherence to contractual terms and conditions and effective supplier management.
- Implement robust risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with project finance teams to ensure contractual terms support optimal financial performance and cost control.
- Maintain strong client relations by providing clear and timely communication regarding contractual matters and project progress.
- Lead and mentor a team of contract specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Engineering degree.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in contract management, specifically within the EPC or renewable energy sectors.
- Proven expertise in Contract Negotiation, EPC Contracts, Solar Project Finance, Risk Management, Legal Compliance, Procurement Management, Cost Control, Schedule Management, and Client Relations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Contract Drafting and managing FIDIC Contracts.
- Strong Team Leadership and interpersonal skills, coupled with exceptional Communication and Problem-Solving abilities.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications
- NEC3 Accreditation.
- Completion of FIDIC Contracts Training.
- An IoD Certificate in Company Direction.
- Fluency in additional languages, though English proficiency is essential.
