Contracts Manager - Renewable Energy
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team in the renewable energy sector. This is a permanent opportunity for a seasoned professional to play a pivotal role in the successful execution of large-scale solar EPC projects. You will be instrumental in safeguarding our interests, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring the financial and operational success of our projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of contract negotiation, drafting, and administration for complex solar EPC projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and risk mitigation.
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including tender evaluation, award, execution, and close-out, meticulously managing all contractual obligations and deliverables.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage contractual risks, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate potential issues and disputes.
- Ensure strict adherence to legal and regulatory compliance throughout all contractual processes, staying abreast of relevant laws and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with project management, finance, procurement, and legal teams to ensure seamless integration of contractual requirements with project execution, cost control, and schedule adherence.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, productive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for all contractual matters.
- Drive efficient procurement processes and robust cost control measures, leveraging contractual agreements to optimize project profitability and value.

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in contracts management, with a significant focus on EPC contracts within the renewable energy sector, particularly solar.
- Proven expertise in contract negotiation, drafting, and administration of complex agreements.
- Demonstrated experience with solar project finance and its contractual implications.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies within a project context.
- In-depth knowledge of legal compliance requirements relevant to construction and energy projects.
- Proficiency in procurement management and associated contractual frameworks.
- Proven ability in cost control and schedule management from a contractual perspective.
- Excellent client relations and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated team leadership capabilities, with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex contractual terms clearly.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Familiarity with contract drafting principles and methodologies.
- Experience with FIDIC contracts or similar international standard forms of contract.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is highly preferred.
- Additional certifications in contract management, project management, or legal studies.
- Experience in international project environments.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
