Contracts Supervisor Vistry Works, Midlands & South Yorkshire

About the Role

We’re seeking a Contracts Supervisor within Vistry Works to provide vital support to Contracts Managers, while learning across all aspects of timber frame management/installation and other areas of the business. This opportunity offers structured training exposure to key functions, ensuring you develop skills for your next career step—being based across project sites in the Midlands and South Yorkshire.

Areas of focus include health & safety, site operations, stakeholder management, and cross-department collaboration. Our flexible culture balances the value of in-person collaboration with adaptable working where possible.

Responsibilities

CSS ensures all Health & Safety standards are upheld from pre-planning through installation, promoting a safeguarding culture across operations:

  • Lead health & safety compliance across sites (pre-planning, construction, review).
  • Attend construction meetings with site and office-based teams (regions, design, technical, commercial, finance).
  • Support project programming, material logistics, labour scheduling via delivery coordination and storage optimisation.
  • Supervise erection teams, co-ordinate subcontractors, and resolve interruptions to project timelines.
  • Conduct quality checks, document defects, and resolve issues within commercial delivery cycles.
  • Assist with commercial processes (invoicing, payments for remedial works) to guarantee financial adherence.
  • Work alongside Contracts Managers on material, labour, programming, financial performance tracking, H&S reporting, and site-related issues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
