Software Control Systems Engineer

£40-55k + Profit Share + Pension

Option for Funded PhD

Hands-on Software Controls Engineer immediately sought to join a small, highly technical engineering team developing advanced automation and optical systems. This is a unique opportunity to work on challenging projects where your ideas and problem-solving will directly impact delivery.

Software Control Systems Engineer - The Role:

  • Design, implement, and commission electrical and control systems for innovative engineering products
  • Program PLC's and integrate with CNC and motion control systems
  • Support build, testing, and commissioning of bespoke systems
  • Contribute to technical project planning, documentation, and regulatory compliance

  • Strong technical background in control systems for bespoke machinery automation
  • The ideal applicant will be experienced with CODESYS and/or C/C++/C# software programming
