Role overview:
Lead Technicians are the technical experts of the Control Room. You will be a key point of contact for escalations of service impacting incidents at both Kingsway and the wider Logistics network, so building relationships and communicating with stakeholders is paramount. You’ll work with several teams including Operations, Engineering, IT, Planning, Stock Integrity and many more. As part of the Kingsway Logistics team, you will input into and execute the daily picking plan. You will learn to support through a wide range of systems, and also be involved in the design and testing of software changes, as well as other opportunities to develop your skills!

Responsibilities:
- Provide multi-site support to users of Logistics systems and raise issues with the system supplier via the JD ‘Request Tracker’ system
- Co-ordination of high severity system issues including stakeholder communications
- Control of system parameters and configuration - Matflo WMS, Selektron, Control Tower & Red Ledge
- Participate in daily pick planning for both Kingsway DCs
- Input into the design, testing, and implementation of Kingsway systems changes
- Releasing of Retail store orders and Internet customer orders into the WMS systems
- Ensure effective handovers at the start and end of shifts
- Support with the training and development of Control Room Technicians

Skills and Experience:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills, both written & verbal
- Experience of using Warehouse Management Systems and willingness to learn & become expert in new systems
- Able to effectively prioritise multiple tasks & issues and escalate appropriately
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues & stakeholders
