Control Room Shift Manager – Nights Shift (4 on 4 off, 19:00-07:00)
We’re looking for an experienced Control Room Shift Manager to lead our night-team, ensuring seamless operation of site systems, automation, and product flow while supporting safety, performance, and service excellence.
About the Role
You’ll oversee a team of Control Room Technicians, manage operational incidents, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, IT, and wider stakeholders to maintain high standards of efficiency and reliability.
This role demands strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment—particularly under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Control Room team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee daily operations, monitoring system performance and warehouse automation.
- Resolve operational issues, including incidents, alarms, and system failures.
- Coordinate responses with Engineering, Operations, and IT to ensure swift resolution.
- Produce operational reports and communicate updates to site leadership.
- Drive KPIs and operational excellence, supporting target delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, company policies, and procedural standards.

Requirements
- Previous experience in Control Rooms, Logistics, Warehouses, or Operational environments is essential.
- Proven leadership & people management skills.
- Knowledge of automated warehouse systems is highly advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment, managing incidents effectively.
- Good understanding of health & safety & risk management.
