24-Hour Control Room Supervisor
Location: Eastlands, Manchester
Pay Rate: £14.45 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4-on, 4-off (12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and professional Control Room Supervisor to join our security operation at a prestigious site in Eastlands, Manchester.
This is a key role within a 24/7 security environment, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of staff, visitors, buildings, and assets through effective CCTV monitoring, incident management, and team leadership.
Working closely with on-site 24-hour security teams, emergency services, and key stakeholders, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV, access control, and life safety systems to identify and respond to security incidents and irregularities.
- Supervise and support a team of CCTV Operators within a wider 24-hour security operation.
- Ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the Control Room and wider campus security coverage.
- Record, investigate, and report incidents accurately and professionally.
- Ensure all control room equipment and systems are operational and functioning effectively.
- Co-ordinate responses to incidents and emergencies, liaising with emergency services and relevant authorities when required.
- Maintain compliance with:
- Company procedures
- GDPR requirements
- Health & Safety regulations
- Support operational objectives while maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 years or over.
- Hold a valid SIA CCTV Public Space Surveillance Licence.
- Have previous experience within the security industry.
- Possess a minimum of 12 months’ experience in either:
- A CCTV Operator role; or
- A supervisory or management position within a security environment.
- Demonstrate strong communication and decision-making skills.
- Have good IT skills, including a working knowledge of Google Workspace (Google Suite).
- Be flexible and able to work a rotating 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, or successfully gain within the first 6 weeks of employment.
