            Control Systems Engineer

You will report to the Customer Solutions Manager UK ICS and be located at Gateshead. Key Responsibilities:

Review customer specifications and create technical documentation for instrumentation and control systems design for new plant and upgrade projects Develop hardware design documentation such as cabinet layout drawings, cable/wiring schematics, and PCB layout/schematics Perform functional design, implementation, testing, and site commissioning of control logic Support creation of documentation for procurement/manufacturing Provide resolution of technical issues including obsolescence Development of test procedures and execution of functional tests Provide support to customers for installation and emergent technical issues

Qualifications:

At least 5+ years’ experience in industry - of which at least 2 years at Engineer level - nuclear industry or other highly regulated sector preferred Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred Chartered Member of the IET (preferred) Must be legally eligible to work in the UK Detailed knowledge of standards, regulations, codes and directives and how they should be applied Strong knowledge in the production of Technical Files for new products / plant and equipment
