Controls Systems Integration Engineer
A fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Controls Systems Integration Engineer.
About the Role
In this position, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain systems that automate industrial processes
- Ensure optimal performance and safety
- Handle the full life cycle of project delivery, from technical compliance to quality
- Attend client meetings to discuss design specifications, surveys, software programming, configuration, testing, and commissioning
You'll work alongside highly skilled engineers, bringing an innovative approach to problem-solving and fostering opportunities for your career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation solutions for industrial processes
- Program and configure PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, and variable speed drives
- Test and commission control systems on-site
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensuring project success
- Document project outcomes and maintain technical records
Requirements
Essential
- 2+ years of experience in control systems
- Software Engineering Degree and/or Electrical qualifications
- Experience with PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi)
- Proficient in SCADA systems (e.g., Wonderware, Iconics, Schneider)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Clean UK Driving License
- Eligibility to work in the UK
