- Organically launched 8 media and conference businesses
- Acquired one (Insurtech Insights, Presidents Summit, Private Equity Insights, HRTechX, CFO Insights, Retail Insights & Setsales)

Career & Development Opportunities
✔ Operational experience – Your work will directly influence the business’s direction. ✔ Direct C-suite exposure – Work closely with a CEO on financial planning, budgets, and investor reporting (monthly updates + board meetings). ✔ Ownership mindset encouraged – We balance ambition with accountability.
Your Responsibilities
Your role is dynamic and impactful; key responsibilities include:
- Annual budgeting – Prepare detailed financial forecasts for effective financial planning.
- Weekly cash flow reporting – Maintain transparency for real-time decision-making.
- Monthly P&L & cash updates – Provide comprehensive financial insights to leadership.
- Cost optimisation & financial health – Review intercompany/external loans, assess financial risks, and recommend strategies.
- Supporting teams – Aid sales and operations with financial clarity and goal alignment.
- Key financial leadership – Lead working capital management and HR financial planning.

What We Expect from You
To flourish in this role, you must exhibit:
- High work ethic & urgency – Drive towards excellence daily.

- Entrepreneurial mindset – Passion for building / scaling businesses.
Must-Have Experience & Qualifications
✅ Accounting background preferred – Ideally >2 years at a "Big Four" firm. ✅ SMB financial leadership – Proven experience as CFO, Head of Finance, or Finance Director at a small/medium-sized business. ✅ Legal eligibility – Valid UK work permit. ✅ (Preferred, but not mandatory) – Background in media, events, or conferences.
