The Recipe (About the Role)

As a Channel Executive, you'll support the delivery of our commercial plan across a key sales channel, working closely with National Account Managers to drive performance and ensure excellent execution. You'll play an important role in forecasting, trade spend management, customer administration, and promotional planning, helping the team deliver against ambitious growth objectives.

You'll also work with digital tools, Trade Promotion Management (TPM) systems, and automated reporting to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making. With a clear development pathway into National Account Executive and National Account Manager roles, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in sales and account management.

  • Manage customer forecasts, ensuring alignment with commercial plans and budget targets.
  • Coordinate field sales briefings and communications for internal and external sales teams.
  • Support promotional planning and execution, including compliance checks and issue resolution.
  • Provide administrative support across invoicing, promotional claims, price files, and customer documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice queries and debt issues with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support customer performance, portfolio management, and successful new product launches.
  • Help deliver customer strategies across in-store, depot, and online channels.
  • Prepare reports, analysis, and materials for customer meetings and business reviews.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, NPD, and external partners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and ways of working.
  • Use data and insights to support decision-making and improve commercial performance.
  • Support innovation projects by coordinating activity, managing risks, and ensuring customer readiness.

The Ingredients (What we need from you)

Key Know How:

  • Experience in a commercial, administrative or coordination role within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or another fast-paced customer environment
  • Numerical and analytical skills, with experience interpreting forecasts and sales data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, forecasting tools and commercial systems
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and to a high standard of detail
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with strong organisational capability
