Conversation Designer (Generative AI)

£650-£850 per day | Inside IR35
6-Month Initial Contract (Likely Extension)
Manchester, Leeds, Halifax or London | Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)

We're looking for an experienced Conversation Designer to join one of the UK's largest financial services organisations on a major transformation programme that is redefining how millions of customers interact with the business.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of customer engagement by transforming a traditional IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system into an intelligent, AI-powered conversational experience using Generative AI.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll design natural, intuitive voice and chat experiences that understand customer intent, ask meaningful follow-up questions, and guide users seamlessly to the right outcome. This is a brand-new capability within the organisation, giving you the chance to influence strategy, define best practices, and play a key role in one of the business's highest-priority innovation programmes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
