Conveyancer – Residential Property | Gloucester

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £40,000–£55,000 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

Overview

A well-established and growing law firm in Gloucester is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join its busy Residential Property team. Whether you're an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, or Solicitor specialising in residential property, this role offers genuine career progression and high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
  • Handle a variety of matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new build purchases, Help to Buy, and shared ownership transactions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties.
  • Ensure files are progressed efficiently while maintaining compliance and high professional standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships through excellent communication and service.
  • Contribute to departmental performance, continuous improvement initiatives, and business development activities where appropriate.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience managing residential conveyancing matters.
  • Strong knowledge of the full residential conveyancing process.
  • Experience with leasehold, new build, or shared ownership transactions would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple files effectively.
  • Strong client care, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, team-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
