Conveyancer (Technical Specialist)
Location: Office or Home-Based
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Join Simplify - where technical expertise shapes the future of conveyancing.
We’re looking for an experienced Conveyancer (Technical Specialist) to play a pivotal role within our residential conveyancing operation. This is a non-case carrying, non client-facing position, but it is far from behind the scenes. You’ll be hands-on, solution-driven, and trusted with responsibility for a portfolio of clients, supporting conveyancers through technically challenging matters and helping to keep files moving efficiently and safely.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong case-carrying background with expertise in title checking and complex matters who now wants to use their technical knowledge, judgement, and problem-solving skills to make a broader impact across a high-performing conveyancing business.
What makes this Technical Conveyancing / Title Checking role different?
You won’t be running your own caseload — but your expertise will be critical to the success of many others. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business to resolve complex legal issues, provide technical guidance, and make commercially sound, risk-based decisions.
This is not a role for someone who wants to stay hidden. You’ll need confidence, determination, and independence, alongside a genuine appetite for tackling difficult issues and seeing them through to resolution.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
