Established and Reputable Law Firm Seeks Conveyancing Assistant

An established and reputable law firm based in North West London is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy and successful property team.

The successful candidate will have previous conveyancing experience and be confident supporting a varied caseload within a fast-paced legal environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing day-to-day support to the conveyancing team on residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Preparing and issuing contract packs, legal documents, and correspondence.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors to progress transactions efficiently.
  • Assisting with exchange and completion, ensuring all documentation is in place.
  • Carrying out post-completion work, including Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions where required.
  • Drafting security documents.
  • General legal administrative support, including opening and closing files, diary management, and maintaining accurate case records.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Conveyancing Assistant.
  • A good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction through to post-completion.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
