Conveyancing Assistant – Bridgwater

Up to £32,000 per annum - Dependant on experience

We're working with a well-established regional law firm with six offices across the region who are looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join their Residential Property team in their Bridgwater office. This is a fantastic opportunity to support an experienced conveyancing team within a friendly, high street firm where there is a genuine track record of Assistants progressing into Fee Earner roles.

Responsibilities include:

  • Dealing effectively with clients and third parties over the phone, in writing, and occasionally face to face, offering advice and assistance
  • Chasing documentation, ID, mortgage offers and searches
  • Keeping the case management system and any third-party websites updated in real time
  • Ensuring the highest levels of service are delivered to clients and introducers
  • Preparing legal documentation as required throughout the conveyancing process
  • Creating completion packs for the accounts team, including completion statements and invoices
  • Handling post-exchange matters as directed by the team manager
  • Managing completions on the day they take place
  • Complying with all firm policies and procedures
  • Supporting your team and others with additional administrative duties as required

  • Experience as a Conveyancing Assistant within a Residential Property team – the firm is open to a range of backgrounds and experience levels, so if you're confident in the role and come across well, we'd love to hear from you
  • The ability to commute to Bridgwater, with one day per week from home
