Conveyancing Executive

Location: Brighton (Hybrid options available)

Salary: Dependent on experience

Are you an experienced Conveyancing Executive looking for your next opportunity within a growing and forward-thinking law firm?

We are working with an ambitious legal practice that is expanding its Residential Conveyancing team and is looking for a confident, client-focused Conveyancing Executive to join their Brighton office.

The Role

As a Conveyancing Executive, you will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload from start to finish
  • Progressing matters proactively to ensure smooth and efficient transactions
  • Providing a high level of client care and acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the process
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
  • Identifying and resolving issues to keep transactions moving forward
  • Ensuring all files are handled accurately and in line with regulatory requirements
  • Supporting junior team members where required
  • Contributing to the continued development and success of the department.

About You

  • A minimum of 2 years’ fee-earning experience within residential conveyancing
  • Strong knowledge of the full residential conveyancing process
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • The ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience supporting junior colleagues, building relationships with introducers, or being involved in networking and business development would be advantageous, although not essential.
