My Law Skills is excited to offer a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Conveyancing Paralegals. This role includes an 8-week intensive training program designed to equip you with the fundamental skills and knowledge essential for a successful career in property law. Our dedicated training will cover key areas such as legal principles, property transactions, and customer service within a legal context. Following this training, successful candidates will undergo a firm placement where they will apply their learning in a real-world environment, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the daily workings of a law practice. You will work alongside qualified solicitors, supporting them on various property matters while building your professional network in the legal field. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to transition into the legal sector. Responsibilities
Assist with property transactions including sales and purchases Draft and prepare legal documents related to conveyancing Conduct property searches and gather necessary information Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders Manage and maintain accurate files and documentation Support the conveyancing team in meeting deadlines and compliance requirements Participate in client meetings and attend property viewings as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field (or equivalent experience) Strong interest in property law and the conveyancing process Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new skills
