As the result of our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding conveyancing team in our Whiteladies Road office.
In this role, the successful candidate will be assisting senior residential property solicitors in a broad range of conveyancing instructions, providing support and an efficient administrative service. The role will involve a degree of autonomy. Responsibilities will include:-
- Assisting senior solicitors with residential property matters to include freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, right to buy and transfers of equity.
- Preparing correspondence and documents.
- Working directly with clients, estate agents, lenders and other fee earners to enhance transaction service.
- Dealing with file set up and administration.
- Assisting with post exchange aspects of purchase and sale transactions and seeing them through to completion.
- Assisting with all aspects of post completion matters including title registration and SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax) returns.

The successful candidate will need to work to meet targets and ensure deadlines are met (to include conveyancing work, mortgage applications and liaising with clients) whilst raising issues and continually reporting back progress, to work towards improving processes and demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, strong communication and a commitment to a team.

The position is an in-office role at present. We are willing to consider full-time and part-time candidates but require a minimum of 28 hours over the working week; Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Prior Paralegal Conveyancing Experience Is Required.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing department in a busy and established firm.
