About The Role
To prepare and cook food for the customers within the service, including considerations of specific dietary requirements and cultural considerations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively approach the promotion of traditional values, demonstrating pride in the work and service delivery.
- To ensure the health, wellbeing and safety of vulnerable adults, young people and children in line with Safeguarding regulations.
- Attending all training courses and delivering on the outcomes.
- Any other duties as required by the role.
- Regular monitoring stock and equipment to ensure satisfactory levels are maintained.
- Ensuring that the kitchen, kitchen equipment and dining room are clear, clean and tidy before, during and after service in order to meet the Food Standards Agency requirements.
- The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Applying a proactive approach in the promotion of traditional values, demonstrating pride in the work and service delivery.
- Ensuring that the following are always adhered to:
- Food and Kitchen hygiene.
- Health and Safety legislation and an understanding of COSHH (Control of substances hazardous to health).
- To ensure the health, wellbeing and safety of vulnerable adults, young people and children in line with Safeguarding regulations.
- Attending all training courses and delivering on the outcomes.
- Any other duties as required by the role.

Who we are?
Trident Group has over 60 years’ experience of delivering homes, services and innovation for up to 8,000 people in over 3,600 homes in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the Midlands. The Group employs more than 650 staff, works with volunteers and provides training places and apprenticeships for many more.
The Group consists of;
- Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance.
- Trident Reach, which is a registered care and support charity delivering trauma informed care and support services.
