Role Description
A day in the life of a Cook at Holmes Care Group is all about serving nutritious home-cooked meals while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety. Key responsibilities include:
Core Responsibilities
- Producing varied, tasty menus for residents, considering individual dietary requirements
- Providing special diets where necessary
- Ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen, including meal clean-up and washing-up
- Preparing and serving meals efficiently
- Guiding and coaching the kitchen team
- Stock control, replenishing stock, and ordering supplies
- Managing Food Health and Safety requirements, ensuring all documentation is completed and up to date

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Experience working as a Cook
- Ability to accommodate a variety of dietary requirements
- Relevant qualifications and Food Hygiene Certificates
- Knowledge of all relevant health and safety regulations
