Role Overview
A Typical Day as a Cook
Our Cooks play a crucial role in serving nutritious, home-cooked meals while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and health and safety:
- Producing varied, tasty menus for our residents, with consideration for individual dietary requirements
- Providing special diets where necessary
- Cleaning and washing up after meals, ensuring the overall cleanliness of the kitchen
- Preparing and serving meals
- Guiding and coaching the kitchen team
- Managing stock control, including replenishing and ordering
- Ensuring compliance with Food Health and Safety requirements, including completing all necessary documentation and keeping it up to date

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Experience working as a Cook
- Ability to accommodate a variety of dietary requirements
- Relevant qualifications
- Hold a Food Hygiene Certificate
- Awareness of all relevant regulations
