About The Role

The Cook will work alongside the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and Assistant Chefs to ensure that residential dining services remain at the highest possible standard of quality.

  • Salary: £13 per hour
  • Contract: 0-hour (worked on a flexible rota, Monday–Sunday)
  • Location: Goodwins Road, King’s Lynn, PE30 5PD

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure regulatory and statutory requirements are met and that company policies are adhered to.
  • Mentor kitchen assistants to maintain top-tier service standards.
  • Actively address audit findings (both internal and external) within required timescales.
  • Maintain strict kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Training, Skills & Experience Required

Key requirements include:

  • Experience in a similar kitchen position.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Food Hygiene (mandatory).
  • Care environment familiarity (desirable).
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
