About Us
Aspen Court Nursing and Dementia Care Home is a modern, purpose-built facility located on the peaceful northern outskirts of Taunton, Somerset. Specially designed for up to 42 residents, we provide Nursing, Dementia, and Complex Care in a safe, supportive environment focused on dignity, wellbeing, and person-centred care.
We are part of Willinbrook Healthcare, the specialist complex care division within the Care Concern Group, a leading family-owned care provider across the United Kingdom.

- Meal Preparation & Service: Deliver high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, including modified or specialist diets.
- Food Safety & Hygiene: Comply with food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining high presentation and cleanliness at all times.
- Menu Planning: Contribute to varied, balanced menus using fresh ingredients.
- Team Collaboration: Work efficiently with the team to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly.
- Resident Wellbeing: Enhance daily life through thoughtfully prepared meals that support health and quality of living.

Compensation & Benefits

- Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour (bank contract)

What We Are Looking For
Essential
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Prior kitchen or food preparation experience
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and dietary standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Familiarity with modified or specialist diets
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, positive attitude
