Join Our Team as a Cook at Avante Care & Support
About the Role
Join Avante Care & Support, a leading Registered Charity, supporting over 1,000 older adults through our dementia care homes and home care services. We’re looking for a passionate and caring Cook to join our team at Bridge Haven.
What You’ll Do
As a Cook, you will:
- Support in leading our kitchen team to create nutritious, beautifully presented meals
- Tailor menus to residents' specific needs, including cultural and religious dietary requirements
- Plan and supervise kitchen operations, ensuring each meal is prepared with care, consideration, and respect
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene practices
- Manage kitchen staff and diner preferences effectively

You’re the Perfect Fit If You Have
- Experienced in running a kitchen team
- In-depth knowledge of elderly dietary needs
- Relevant food/catering qualifications (Level 2 or higher)
- A friendly, reliable, and flexible approach
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
